Here is the border pattern, completed. I pinned it to the carpet, because it rolls up otherwise. I also folded the ribbed facing under it. This is how the hem should look, but without the pins.
That looks wonderful! Fabulous job! Are you trying to break away form the peleton for bonus points? Seriously though I hope you don't have to frog. Fingers crossed.
Thanks for the well-wishes. But they didn't work. :-( The lower hem is too small.
I decided to do what I should have done in the first place and start on a sleeve. I will measure the gauge again on the sleeve and make adjustments if necessary before starting on the body again. I have alos made some other adjustments to the pattern. There were a few things that just didn't make sense.
