A New Challenge for me

I'm going to attempt this Knitting and Crochet blog week. See banner below and watch this space.

I've been traveling for most of the past 6 months and have been updating my travel blog. (see link on right) I've been knitting, but not doing any rosemaling. I plan to continue with both as well as with the traveling. I'm headed back over to France on Thursday--in two days. I should be packing now and not blogging, but I'll try to do some blogging when I get there.

I'm a monogamous knitter

I ususally work on only one project at a time. I really have no desire to start a new project before the current one is finished. But I am trying to stretch a bit. I have joined a couple Knit-alongs (KAL's) and when I do that I sometimes have to start a new project while the current one sits. I have also been trying to keep a pair of socks on a needle so I will have something to take with me when my current project doesn't lend itself to going out.

I'm Acanthus on Ravelry. If you are a knitter and aren't on Ravelry, what are you waiting for? It's a great resource that you can use for free and as much or as little as you like.
